FB Marketplace (Flesh & Blood) transforms the aesthetics of the sari-sari store into a layered exploration of commodification, consumption, and human value. The space invites viewers into a maze of fragmented truths—mirrors that distort the self, posters that shout in plain sight yet conceal deeper meanings, and TV screens where reality slips by unnoticed.

Snacks—freely taken yet deeply symbolic—become stand-ins for human parts - highlighting how life itself is packaged, consumed, and sold. The mirrors reflect not just the viewer, but the distortions of worth in systems that commodify bodies. The dreamlike lighting atmosphere, contrasts the harsh realities on the TV monitors: human trafficking, organ sales, and labor repackaged for survival.

This is not a space of easy answers. It’s an invitation to look closer, to piece together what is scattered, and to reflect on what is often overlooked. Through silence, noise, and reflection, the work asks:

How much do we notice before we look away?

The choice is yours-- observe, consume, discard, or preserve.

What do you take away?
